Milad
Occupational Therapist · ILF Neurofeedback Therapist
More than 3,500 hours of experience supporting children and adults.
Who I am
For many years, I have accompanied people on their path toward greater self-regulation, concentration, and inner balance.
My path into neurotherapy began with biology studies in the USA and training as a Radiology Practitioner — a scientific foundation that still shapes my clinical work today. Building on this, I became a state-recognised occupational therapist with a specialisation in ILF neurofeedback according to the Othmer method.
With more than 3,500 hours of practical experience and several professional certifications, I combine scientific thinking with therapeutic support on equal footing.
My guiding idea: bringing body and mind into balance.
My story
My professional path began with studies in biology. There I learned to think scientifically, read studies critically, and understand biological systems not in isolation but in their interconnections. Afterwards, I completed training as a Radiology Practitioner and deepened my knowledge of diagnostic imaging and clinical neuroanatomy.
This scientific foundation still shapes the way I work as an occupational therapist today. Behind concentration problems, chronic stress, trauma, or inner restlessness, there are often not only visible symptoms but also processes of self-regulation that have moved out of balance.
When I first began working with ILF neurofeedback, it became clear to me how well my biological and therapeutic knowledge could come together here. The method allows highly differentiated, individual work with the nervous system — without invasive procedures, without performance pressure, and with close observation of how things develop over time.
Since then, I have specialised in this form of support. I work with children, adolescents, and adults — including in cases involving ADHD, anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, and high everyday stress.
Why I do this
I am convinced that body and mind form a unity. Classical occupational therapy often works with the visible layers of everyday life: action, structure, motor skills, sensory processing, and resilience. Neurofeedback complements this work by addressing the level of neuronal self-regulation.
My goal is not to make quick promises, but to support people in understanding their system better and stabilising it over the long term — with professional care, realistic classification, and support that places the person at the centre.

What SOMA NEXUS means
In Greek philosophy, Soma stands for the living body as a whole — not merely as a shell, but as an expression of our being.
Nexus describes the point of connection where body, mind, and life circumstances are linked together.
SOMA NEXUS stands for the connection between body and mind — for a place where both dimensions are considered together and their interaction is taken seriously.
“The part can never be well unless the whole is well.” — Plato
Ancient philosophy already described the human being not as a collection of separate parts, but as a unity. Modern neuroscience today confirms many of these observations: physical strain, stress, sleep, emotions, attention, and social experiences all influence one another.
In a fast-paced, stimulus-heavy world, this unity can easily move out of balance. What may initially look like individual symptoms — such as exhaustion, tension, sleep problems, or concentration difficulties — is often the expression of a nervous system that has been under pressure for too long.
“From the day we are born, our journey of ageing begins. It is our constant task to take care of the system we have been given — to care for it, strengthen it, and keep it in balance.” — Milad, SOMA NEXUS
My work therefore follows a holistic understanding: not every burden can be reduced to a single cause, and not every solution lies in a single method alone. Neurofeedback, occupational therapy, movement, sleep hygiene, social stability, and conscious personal effort can complement one another meaningfully.
“The natural healing force within each of us is the greatest force in getting well.” — Hippocrates
That is the conviction behind SOMA NEXUS: when we look at the person as a whole — with body, mind, biography, and resources — we can often make more orientation, stability, and balance possible. Not through promises of cure, but through careful, individual support.
My vision
Support that does not reduce people to symptoms, but understands their interconnections. A practice where professional clarity, calm, and respect come together — and where body and mind are not thought of separately.
SOMA NEXUS — where body and mind connect.

What matters to me
Client-centred
With me, you are a client, not just a patient. The focus is on the person and their story, not only on a diagnosis.
Scientifically honest
I work in an evidence-oriented way — without promising cures. I name what the research shows, and I also speak openly about its limits.
On equal footing
I listen, do not judge too quickly, and respect your decisions — including if you decide against therapy.
Goal-oriented
You define what matters to you. Together, we formulate realistic goals and work toward them step by step.
Cooperations & network
Doctors & specialists
Collaboration with paediatricians, psychiatrists, and neurologists in the Hanover area. Therapy reports and professional exchange available on request.
Psychotherapists
Neurofeedback can complement ongoing psychotherapy. Collaboration takes place with clear roles and respect for existing treatment paths.
Further training & research
Regular further training with Beemedic and HBImed. Guided by current developments in neurofeedback and occupational therapy.
